LCW’s Network Organizing Forum (The NOF) recently launched the NOF Internship – an advanced leadership opportunity for LCW Network Members focused on a) mastery of the ‘network-centric organizing approach’ and b) documentation and training skills related to disseminating the network-centric approach within the Network and across the Country. The NOF Internship brings members into the center of developing, designing and sharing our approach and our lessons, and offers the opportunity to be key participants in the nation-wide learning community. The Internship includes special group projects, travel, peer support and independent and collaborative study. each Intern will also set up and manage an on-line blog to chronicle thier year. The Intership is lead by Alma Couverthie, the NOF Director and is one of several “stipended volunteer and leadership development opportunities offered by the Network, including the Member-Link Program, the Reviviendo Fellowships and the NeighborCircle Facilitator and Peer Leadership programs. The first NOF Internship Cohort was recruited in March and began work in May.
